Cornelius is into intercultural learning – as a professional, as a volunteer, as a practitioner.
He has worked with participants, clients, co-trainers, and other dedicated volunteers from over 50 countries on all continents: with (and in) international projects, to support virtual cooperation, to give orientation to expats and their families relocating abroad or immigrating in Germany, or in writing policy for the leading international non-profit provider in educational exchanges, Youth For Understanding, with its 50 national organizations.
His clients are organizations form many branches of business, public institutions, and NGOs (often pro bono). Since the year 2000 and to date, Cornelius is an associate lecturer at Applied Sciences and Technical Universities throughout Germany (Augsburg, Chemnitz, Heilbronn, Mannheim, Offenburg, Pforzheim).
As trainer, consultant, coach, and speaker, Cornelius works with executive officers and specialists, with students and youths, with seniors and families. Thanks to his clients’ global presence, Cornelius has had the opportunity to expand his professional perspective. His original focus on the United States (where he has spent 3 years) has broadened to include Canada, Asia and Europe (including Germany of course) as well as Africa, in particular South Africa. He has been consulting specialists and executives on cooperating with African countries since 1993.
Cornelius and his cooperation partners have acquired excellent references since 1995 – in industry and services, from banks and insurances, in government and non-government organizations, from consulting to education.
